Chris was that kid who was always drawing. At school in north Queensland he’d shoehorn pictures into every possible subject – history, geography, biology, anything. And the influences on his work back then carry right through to today. Comic books, movies, and the pulpy covers of genre-fiction have substantially eaten his brain. His professional illustration commissions have ranged from beer labels, band posters and caricatures to wildlife murals, pet shop logos, portraits, and tattoo designs, plus satirical works and anthropomorphic vegetables. Sometimes there’s a bit of crossover in those last two. He currently lives in marvelous Melbourne, Australia, illustrating for hire.
